Photo Diary: Axdahl Farm and Greenhouse
It’s the most wonderful time of the year!
No, not Christmas…pumpkin season! I don’t know what it is about red leaves, pumpkin white mochas and apple orchards that make me feel all warm and cozy inside but I absolutely LOVE fall!!
There’s also just something about apple cider and pumpkin patches that makes me really happy. So when my mom and sister suggested going to pick out pumpkins, I was all in!
Axdahl Farms is located in Stillwater, MN, just a short drive from St. Paul and has everything you could need for a day of fall family fun. Starting nearly 30 years ago as a roadside stand selling fresh vegetables, the family business now boasts a greenhouse selling fresh produce, mums and seasonal favorites. With a corn maze, pick-your-own-pumpkin patches and a silo theater, your family will have something for everyone.
One of my favorite things about Axdahl’s is their sustainable approach. They not only use earth-friendly practices but they take care to protect the natural wildlife and land surrounding them. As someone who is passionate about animal rights, knowing they are working to live in partnership with nature is incredibly meaningful to me as a consumer!
As a self-proclaimed amateur iPhone photographer, I had a blast wandering the grounds and discovering all the photo opps they have to offer! From straw bales and corn husks to gourds and pumpkins, they have everything you need to create your own Instagram-worthy fall decor at home!
What are your favorite fall traditions?
