The Skin Check: Meet Katharine Laffey

This month, I sat down with my friend and fellow ambassador Katharine Laffey to discuss life after cancer and the fear of recurrence.

Katharine has been an L.U.V. ambassador since early 2021. She and I connected after a webinar we did together with the Melanoma Research Foundation on Scanxiety and Fear of Recurrence.

Katharine is a preschool teacher and aunt down in sunny Florida. She was diagnosed with melanoma almost a year and a half ago in March of 2022 and has leaned into the melanoma community for support and education through this experience.
